Shipping Destinations & Restrictions

Supported Locations: We currently ship to valid residential and business addresses within the United States and its territories.

APO/FPO Addresses: Due to carrier size constraints on our specialized packaging, we unfortunately do not ship to APO, FPO, or DPO military addresses at this time.
Shipping Costs, Rates & Sales Tax

Flat Rate Shipping: We offer flat-rate shipping of $6.99 on all domestic orders shipped via USPS ground.

Expedited Shipping: Expedited shipping is an available option for domestic orders, costs are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your package and your delivery destination. You will always see the exact shipping charge before finalizing your order.

Sales Tax: RainTaps is a registered business operating out of Massachusetts. In accordance with state law, a 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to addresses within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Out-of-State Orders: For orders shipped to states outside of Massachusetts, sales tax will be automatically calculated and applied at checkout if required by the economic nexus laws of your delivery state.
Please note: Due to the physical dimensions of our beer tap umbrellas, items within the same order are often packaged individually and shipped separately. This does not result in additional shipping fees beyond your final checkout total.
Order Processing & Handling Time

In-Stock Items: Orders for standard in-stock items (such as beer tap umbrellas, bottle openers, and standalone tap handles) take 1 to 3 business days to be processed, packed, and prepared for shipping.

Custom / Made-to-Order Items: Because our custom beer gifts require special part collection from partner breweries, custom items require a production handling time of 5 to 10 business days before they are shipped.
Our daily order handling cutoff time is 1:00 PM EST. Orders placed after this time will begin processing the following business day.
Transit & Delivery Estimates
Once your order has been handed off to our carrier partners (USPS, FedEx, or UPS), typical transit times within the continental U.S. are as follows:

Standard (Flat Rate) Shipping: 3 to 5 business days in transit.

Expedited Shipping (If selected): 1 to 3 business days in transit.
Total estimated delivery time (Handling + Transit) ranges from 4 to 8 business days for standard items, and 8 to 15 business days for custom items. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships so you can monitor its progress.
Damaged or Delayed Shipments
If your tracking information shows an unexpected delay, please contact us at ben@raintaps.com so we can investigate it with the carrier on your behalf.
Damaged Deliveries: If any of the fragile gifts in your order are broken or physically damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately at ben@raintaps.com with photos of the damage. We will gladly handle the carrier claim and arrange a fast repair or replacement for you.
