The Sam Adams Brewery
I’m not sure why but a number of the Boston area breweries have multiple names. This is the case with Sam Adams, Harpoon, as well as Slumbrew. That can be a little tricky if you’re trying to figure out what the proper name of the brewery is. With Sam Adams the proper name of the brewery is Boston Beer Company, this will come up a number of times if you’re trying to find them on social media or if you’re contacting the company headquarters.
Technically there are a number of brands that operate under the Boston Beer Company name. While Samuel Adams is the main brand they also produce Twisted Tea, Angry Orchard Cider, and Truly Spiked Seltzer.
